Musbaw Alawiye was born in the capital city of Accra in Ghana West Africa. He studied Fine Art and Digital Design at the Ghanatta College of Art, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, American InterContinental University, and University of Maryland, he also studied leadership, management, Data Science, Big Data, Information Technology, and Project Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus, UC San Diego, and The George Washington University. Since the late 1980s, Mr. Alawiye’s art and design work has been internationally exhibited throughout his country of birth, at the Swiss Embassy in Ghana, and at the Panhandle Art Center and OHMS Café in Amarillo, TX.

Mr. Alawiye has over 20+ years progressive career in Visual communication, Digital Design, Data Visualization, and designing and publishing variety of visual communication materials including infographic, news graphics, brochures, logos, manuals, posters, wall charts, view-graphs, exhibits, books, pamphlets, magazines, handbooks, annual reports, newsletters, abstract reports, illustrations, maps, package design, and business presentations.

Mr. Alawiye art medium has evolved over the years. Many of his masterpiece collections were done in watercolor, pen and ink, and acrylic paints to create his abstract designs. He applies an “ink and wash” technique to enhance the details of many of his pieces, and has perfected a one-of-a-kind technique to add dimension to the background of his pieces. He also often incorporates mixed-media into his designs including dried banana leaves from Ghana and wood veneer.

Mr. Alawiye have leadership and technical abilities in Management, Marketing, Data Science, Big Data, Project Management, Information Security/Technology, and Software Programs.
